Delete Link

Description

Delete Link allows the Payer to delete established links from their PI's mobile application. The Delete Link will delink the Payer’s account from Bill Pay Accelerator. After deleting the link, the Payer will not receive new payment request notification. Any existing pending payment requests and the transaction history of paid requests will continued to be maintained in Bill Pay Accelerator.

The following steps demonstrate the Delete Link user flow:

PI needs to implement Link Retrieval API to display list of linked Billers. Payer can search and select a Biller to initiate the Delete Link flow.

Payer might have linked a Biller with multiple accounts. In that case, PI should allow Payer to choose an account to delete.

Delete Link API will initiate the delinking process. Payer will not receive future payment requests after deleting the link.

After deleting the link, the Biller may appear in available Biller's list. If Payer had more than one account linked, then Biller may still appear in linked Biller's list.
