Description

To be able to pay bills using Bill Pay, the Payer must first link the Biller with their profile. First the Payer needs to search the Biller that needs to be linked. Once the Biller is linked to their profile on Mastercard Bill Pay, the Payer can view the linked Biller and link their details.

Authentication Parameters of Billers

A Biller can request additional parameters to authenticate the Payer before establishing a link. List Biller API returns these authentication parameters as authParams, which may or may not be present for a Biller. These parameters if required by the Biller must be present in the Link Request process. A PI's mobile application needs to handle the dynamic display of these parameters.

The following steps demonstrate the List Biller user flow:
PI can implement List Biller API to display a list of Billers supported by the Mastercard Bill Pay Exchange.
PI may implement search functionality to enhance the payer experience.
