Payment Request Early Payment

Description

If a Biller provides a rebate for early payment, PI can highlight such information to the Payer so that they don't miss it.

The following steps demonstrate the Link Request user flow:

PI implements Payment Request Retrieval API to display the list of pending and processed bills.

PI can call Payment Request Details Retrieval API to display the details of a payment request bill details screen. PI can highlight early payement rebate.

PI can dedicate a screen for early payment rebate providing the rebate details.

When the Payer wishes to make an early payment, PI implements Payment Confirmation Advice API to send the confirmation of the Payment.

PI can show a transient message screen.

Rebate will be adjusted in next payment request. PI should display payment success screen with necessary details.

PI can show the processed list with bill status as processed.
